Grace Communion International (GCI) is Christian fellowship with about 50,000 members formed into 900 churches spread across 100 countries. We began as a denomination in Oregon in 1934. Today our international administrative office (“home office”) is located in Glendora, California.
Grace Communion International seeks to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20) by living and sharing the good news of what God has done through Jesus Christ.
GCI has a vision of All kinds of churches for all kinds of people in all kinds of places
We seek to be a movement of multiplication, faithfully and creatively engaging in what Jesus is doing in the power of the Holy Spirit to fulfill the Father’s mission to the world.
We are members of the National Association of Evangelicals

As a denomination, GCI has experienced changes that have been called historically unprecedented. To read a summary about those changes, click here. In 2009, we changed our name in the U.S. from Worldwide Church of God (WCG) to Grace Communion International (GCI). Our new name better reflects who we are and what we now teach.
